What stays on the device

Finds, photos, comparables and settings live in a database file inside this app's private folder.

There is no account, no sign-in and no server anything is uploaded to. We do not see your finds.

Camera and photos

The app opens the camera or your photo library only when you trigger it. Without your tap, no picture is taken and none is read.

The picture is scaled down to 1600 pixels and stays on the device. It is not sent anywhere.

Text recognition

Text recognition runs on your device. The picture is not transmitted for it and is not sent to any recognition service.

It needs an offline package. The app loads it only when you tap a package — and only from the same address the app itself runs on. No third-party server, no background download.

If recognition is not possible on your device, the app says so and asks you to type the details in. It does not invent a result.

Market data

The “With provider data” mode is meant for connected price sources. In this version none is connected.

The app reports “No provider connected - disabled” and queries nothing. So neither a search term nor a find leaves your device.

Export and import

Export writes a file into this app's folder on your device. What happens to it afterwards is your decision.

An import reads a file, shows a summary first, and creates nothing until you confirm.

What this app does not do

No analytics, no audience measurement, no advertising, no tracking, no cookies.

No sharing with third parties and no sync with other devices.

Deleting

“Delete all data” in the settings removes the database, the photos and any intermediate state from this device.

The deletion takes effect immediately and survives a restart — there is no second copy anything could come back from.

Legal basis

The app processes your input exclusively on your device and only for the task you trigger yourself. Nothing is transmitted to us in the process.

Insofar as processing within the meaning of the GDPR does occur, it is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

Access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21 GDPR).
